ORIGIN OF GRANFONDO RICCIONE
Granfondo Riccione was born in 1999 thanks to the intuition of Valeriano Pesaresi (Eurobike Riccione), a forerunner and, in many ways, pioneer of an amateur cycling movement focused on challenging long-distance endeavors. Over the years, the event has established as a classic and significant event in the “Granfondo” calendar.
In the latest years, Granfondo Riccione has undergone a major relaunch: the Municipality of Riccione has chosen to invest in the project and turn it into a true sporting excellence, an example, and a meeting point for cycling enthusiasts. The sponsorship marked the beginning of huge communication, scenography, security, and storytelling efforts, necessary to elevate the name of the Granfondo Riccione.
