BIRTH OF THE GRANFONDO RICCIONE
The event was born in 1999 from the intuition of Valeriano Pesaresi (Eurobike Riccione), a forerunner and pioneer in many ways of an amateur cycling movement focused on challenging long-distance endeavors. Over the years, it has managed to establish itself as a classic and significant event in the “Granfondo” calendar. The Granfondo Riccione is currently undergoing a major phase of relaunch: the Municipality of Riccione has chosen to invest in the project and turn it into a true sporting excellence, an example, and a meeting point for cycling enthusiasts. The sponsorship marks the beginning of huge communication, scenography, security, and storytelling efforts, necessary to elevate the name of the Granfondo Riccione.
